Yvonne's Top 5 Tips for Boarding Your Pet

Boarding a pet is tougher on the owner than on the pet.  Here are some things you can do to help your pet adjust to his boarding experience : 

1.  Have a good attitude when you bring your pet into our facility.  If you feel bad or upset, your pet will pick up your feelings.  Come in with a good attitude and your pet will look forward to his or her stay.

2.  We highly recommend that you bring in something from home:  a favorite toy, bed, old t-shirt that you slept in the night before.  (NO socks please, these can be a choking hazard.)  These items give your pet a sense of security. 

3.  We feed Pedigree Products to our guests.  However, you are more than welcome to bring in your pet's favorite food and treats.  Sometimes, when a diet is changed suddenly, the result is an upset tummy. 

4.  Please allow an extra 10 minutes when you bring in your pet to fill out our "Boarder Profile."  This gives us the information we need so that we may better serve your pet's needs. 

5.  Book an appointment to have your pet bathed or groomed, even on short visits.  Your pet will associate the extra attention with his boarding visits!
